Level 3 Accreditation with Green Mark
It’s an internationally recognised environmental accreditation for companies that are conducting their business to recognised environmental standards.
To move from Level 2 to Level 3 we had to further develop our action plan and complete the following:
- Record and pledge
to reduce our emissions and environmental impact and show an understanding of the related legislation - Measure
and take action to reduce our Carbon footprint to meet our objectives and targets - Manage and pledge
to reduce waste generated by our business - Introduce
sustainable practices for saving energy, reducing water use and using less materials - Commit
to helping to improve the local environment - Review
our procurement criteria to recognise the green credentials of our suppliers

The Level 3 accreditation was a significant step up from Levels 1 and 2 and I am really proud of the whole team here at Plummer Parsons for committing so wholeheartedly to the environmentally friendly ethos represented by this accreditation.
In our commitment to zero out the emissions we created last year, we have purchased Carbon Offsets. We may be just one company in the business community but if everyone plays their part and does as much as they can to reduce their carbon footprint and environmental impact, then the positive effects could be huge.
